Our Engineering Team In Scarborough, North Yorkshire

Director: Mike Blake – BSc. CEng, MICE, MIHT

Mike is a Chartered Engineer and has over 25 years experience in both the UK and The Middle East. After being made an Associate in 1997 Mike was responsible for the running of the Building Surveying department and later became Director of this department. In 2006 Mike also became Director of the Structural Engineering department and in 2009 moved to the Scarborough office to run the team of Engineers and Technicians.

Associate: Denise Abbey – BEng.(Hons), CEng, MIStructE

A Chartered Structural Engineer who has worked for Alan Wood & Partners since 2004 becoming an Associate in 2006, Denise heads up a team of engineers and technicians looking after general Structural engineering projects. Denise specialises in structural steelwork.

Associate: Chris Broderick – BA (Oxon), MA (Oxon), CEng, MICE

Chris is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years experience in Civil engineering in the UK and The Middle East. Chris has extensive experience in Civil engineering and infrastructure design in the commercial, industrial and public sectors. Chris heads the Civils department within the Scarborough office comprising Engineers and Technicians.
