Bishopthorpe

Our involvement with Bishopthorpe Palace began by assessing the stability of the four 7m high chimney stacks.  This later developed to include the structural design associated with the re-development of the site working closely with the Conservation Architect, The Church Commissioners, the City of York Conservation Office and English Heritage.  We have recently been commended by the RIBA for the complex strengthening works carried out on the State Drawing Room.
