- Sulphate Attack
An unfortunate consequence of poor quality hardcore being used for domestic properties in the past is that the floors and walls become distorted due to sulphate attack of the oversite concrete.
- Party Wall
Individual surveyors throughout the practice are trained to be surveyors in accordance with the Party Wall Act.
- Boundary Disputes
Chartered Surveyors are available to assist with the resolution of boundary disputes, either domestic or commercial.

Alan Wood & Partners can fulfil the role of CDM Co-ordinator in accordance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations.
- Flood Risk Assessments
Flood Risk Assessments are required by the Environment Agency via the planning system for projects within a flood plain.
- Project Management
Based upon the varied engineering skills and experience throughout the practice, Alan Wood & Partners also provide the necessary management skills required of Project Management.
- Site Supervision
Supervision of a project during the construction phase can be provided by an Alan Wood & Partners engineer being full time on the site as the Resident Engineer.
- Expert Witness
Expert Witness legal reports are compiled by the Chartered Engineers and Chartered Surveyors of the company. An appropriate person will be allocated to provide the necessary expertise for each individual case.
