Wyke College were in need of new state of the art facilities on their existing Hull campus. It was decided with the benefit of significant funding from the Learning and Skills Council to rebuild the entire college.

Sports Academy, Bishop Burton College >>

The new Sports Academy at Bishop Burton College comprises a sports hall designed to cater for numerous sporting activities, these include basketball, volleyball, gymnasium, a dance studio, changing rooms and offices. A viewing gallery is located within the gymnasium area.

East Ravendale Primary School, Lincolnshire >>

Alan Wood & Partners were responsible for the design of the foundations, floor slab and superstructure for the extension to this Victorian Primary School. The school was designed to blend in with its picturesque surroundings in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

HDU Facility, Hull Royal Infirmary >>

The project brief was to provide a 14 bed ward at third floor level on the existing building. This involved a steel framed building supported off piles and ground beams within the existing hospital.

Disabled Facilities, Lincolnshire >>

Working in conjunction with occupational therapists, outline proposals are submitted for approval to best suit the individuals needs. The client may require a simple level access shower, an ambulant disabled WC or a full bathroom suite and bedroom accommodation, dependant on their needs.

An ambulance station was required on the northern outskirts of Beverley to replace the ageing and outdated station in a traffic congested area of Beverley.
