Historic Building Conservation

Our expertise in this specialist sector covers all aspects of historic buildings. We have longstanding relationships with a number of conservation bodies and have been involved in numerous English Heritages Projects.

Work undertaken by Alan Wood & Partners predominantly involves the analysis, maintenance, repair and improvement of historic buildings. We carefully manage elements of new design to respect the setting and fabric of the existing structures. The challenge of minimising environmental impact greatly interests us and we consider the who spectrum of sustainability, re use and working with traditional materials in our projects.
