New Supercity Aparthotels coming to Leeds & York

Supercity specialise in stylish serviced apartment hotels and have six existing hotels in London, Manchester and Brighton.
The new additions to their portfolio include a 62 bed and 64 bed hotel in two popular Northern cities, Leeds and York.
The Leeds hotel, which is to be built opposite Leeds City Hall on the Headrow, will see the redevelopment of the Grade II listed former Jubilee Hotel with a modern extension wrapping around the corner onto East Parade.
The York hotel is within the medieval area of Micklegate, enveloped by Grade I listed buildings and will deliver a sympathetically designed facility, influenced by the medieval timber framed buildings that once stood on the footprint.

- Below ground drainage design
- Commentary on interfaces of sub-contractor designed elements
- Design of RC substructure and detailing and scheduling of all insitu RC structural elements
- Foundation design
- Piling specification
- Specification of intrusive SI and associated remediation strategy
- Identification of temporary works requirements
Alan Wood have been involved since RIBA stage 2 design for the Leeds facility and RIBA stage 3 for York.
