Alan Wood & Partners’ presence in Lincolnshire started life in 2007 in Louth, where it traded as a relatively small team for seven years.
Then, in 2014, the office moved to Lincoln, officially opening in January 2015 in a building the team shared with a local architectural practice.
As the office grew, it moved around various locations in the city until settling at its current location of Burton Waters, located to the north west of the city centre.
The Lincoln office now employs a team of twelve and provides civil and structural engineering services, surveying, and project management services. Although the team works across all construction sectors, the office does have a specialism in large industrial developments.
Our Lincoln office leads the business on the integration and use of BIM and was the first office in the company to achieve a Level 2 Accreditation to ISO 19650 with Lloyd's Register.
Engineers from the office have led on a number of large national projects including the delivery of the £150m Etex plasterboard manufacturing plant in Bristol, the International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln and the Boston Endeavour Academy, a specialist school for children with learning difficulties and disabilities.
