As HR Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the company’s people strategy to help ensure we remain a great place to work. You’ll be instrumental in strengthening relationships across the business, offering expert advice and support to employees, stakeholders, and leadership on all HR matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure HR initiatives support company objectives.
  • Provide insights to guide business decisions through HR metrics and reporting.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
  • Create and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners.
  • Conduct interviews and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and well-being.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with company values.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from entry to exit.

Performance Management

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes that foster high performance.
  • Support managers with performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Develop competency-based frameworks to monitor and improve performance.

Learning & Development

  • Design and deliver training and development programmes.
  • Support managers with coaching and leadership development.
  • Coordinate statutory and professional training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records.

HR Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practices.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Draft employment documents including offer letters and contract variations.
  • Support company initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Employee Relations

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievances.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment through proactive communication.
  • Implement structured onboarding and offboarding processes.

Required for the position

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • You should be proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and engaging team player.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent), preferably CIPD Level 5, or working towards qualification.
  • Proven experience in a broad HR role across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment, performance management, and employment law.
  • Skilled in policy writing and implementation.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels of the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence, and able to travel to all our UK office locations.
