As an experienced technician within the civil and structural team, your primary focus will be to undertake 2D and 3D modelling, drawing, and detailing, maintain high technical standards, and help guide and develop junior staff. You will collaborate with colleagues on projects, both internal and client, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to use their skills and knowledge to add value to a diverse range of construction projects. Current projects include highways, schools, colleges and universities, commercial, residential, industrial, petrochemical, food, and energy.
In your role, you will contribute to the delivery of multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously, where you will be responsible for coordinating and preparing BIM solutions. You will be skilled in producing BIM models and CAD drawings to a high standard. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining common data environments in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
You will need to organise your work in a structured manner, collaborating with colleagues to address fluctuations in resource demand and assisting in prioritising project delivery.
