We were delighted to welcome Cordelia (Corporate Fundraising Executive) along with two members of their talented training team from Support Dogs. We were also joined by two of their wonderful dogs in training, Rufus and Newton.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, our Sheffield team raised an impressive £240.67. With Alan Wood & Partners matching this amount, the total donation came to £481.34.
Support Dogs is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children and adults living with challenging medical conditions. They specialise in training assistance dogs in three vital areas:
Autism assistance dogs – trained to provide safety and reduce anxiety for autistic children in social environments.
Seizure alert dogs – trained to give a 100% reliable warning up to an hour before an epileptic seizure, allowing clients to stay safe and live more independently.
Disability assistance dogs – trained using the client’s own pet to carry out tailored daily tasks, offering greater independence and confidence.
