New Community Diagnostic Centre to be built in Scunthorpe

27 July 2023

This 2,346sq m state-of-the-art facility, with a budget of £19.4m, aims to alleviate the burden on the main hospitals in the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) network.

By offering a comprehensive range of health checks, scans, and diagnostic tests, the centre will serve as a convenient one-stop-shop for the local community.

This project represents our ongoing success within the Healthcare sector, further strengthening our relationship with NLaG, whom we have worked with most recently on the feasibility of a new Care Hub and proposed improvements to the maternity ward at Scunthorpe General Hospital, as well as renovations to the mortuaries at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby and Scunthorpe General Hospital.

We are also delighted to once again be working with Alessandro Caruso Architects from Hull.  When completed NLaG and the team will have created a cutting-edge facility that will enhance healthcare services and promote the well-being of the local community.
